Man Sues Under First Amendment After Arrest For Wearing "Occupy Everywhere" Jacket former Marine, Fitzgerald Scott, is suing over his arrest at the US Supreme Court Museum Corridor. While looking at exhibitions, he was told by police that his jacket was a sign of a demonstration that could not be worn in the US Supreme Court.

Federal prosecutors dismissed the arrest, and Scott has now sued for a violation of his First Amendment rights.

Last month, the National Lawyers Guild, of which this office is proud member, successfully defended Occupy protesters as 90 cases were dismissed In Cook County.
